2021-2022 Verification Calc

This release modifies the verification calc, due to the recent (07/13/2021) guidance that waives verification of all FAFSA and Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) information. This is applicable to all students, with the exception of ISIR fields detailed below.

The only remaining ISIR data requirement is for identity/Statement of Educational Purpose and high school completion status found in Verification Tracking Groups V4 and V5.

As a result, we are modifying the FINANCIER verification calc to ignore all ISIR income data in the V1 and V5 tracking groups, thereby effectively making V4 and V5 identical. Additionally, the 2021-2022 calc is being modified to once again use a Pass-Automatic description in the Event description. This modification should allow schools to identify students who may have been already verified in the 2021-2022 processing year using the previous logic.

Additionally, we have modified the Verication screens to protect all of the student and parent ISIR income data.

CPS has indicated that they will still send students with V1, V4, and V5 tracking groups as well as having them selected for Verification. These changes should allow minimal changes to your systems in the middle of a processing year.
