Release Notes: Item 2511-01

2026-2027 Regulatory Release (File Changes)

This is the first of two release items which comprise the 2026-2027 Regulatory release. This first item concerns new year-specific file definitions required for 2026-2027 Federal processing. The accompanying source code changes will be issued in release item 2511-02.

(Dictionary entries, traditionally delivered with the file changes, will be delivered with the source code changes for 2026-2027.)

Implementation Notes

1. File changes:
   • New year file changes
     • Load the new file definitions from the SYSOBJH file (named sy251101.txt) in the attached zip file to PREDICT. These file definitions include layouts for:
       • WF-CPS-2627 (file/userview)
       • WF-CPS-CMP-2627 (userview)
       • WF-FEDERAL-2627 (file/userview)
       • WF-FED-CMP-2627 (userview)
       • WF-ISIR-2627 (file/userview)
       • WF-ISIR-CMP-2627 (userview)
       • WF-NSLDS-2627 (file/userview)
       • WF-NSLDS-CMP-2627 (userview)
       • WF-VERIFY-2627 (file/userview)
       • WF-VER-CMP-2627 (userview)
     • Change file numbers to match your institution's physical file numbers.
     • Generate ADABAS files for the WF-xxxx-2627 files listed above.
     • Generate DDMs for the WF-xxxx-2627 and WF-xxxx-CMP-2627 userviews listed above. You may need to set the Generate Security option to YES for the new files.
     • If NATURAL Security is used, add the new files to NATURAL Security.
     • Link the new files to your FINANCIER library as Update.
